Human-Computer Interaction
Kurzübersicht Forschungsfeld
Das Ziel dieser sehr praktischen und jungen Disziplin ist es, die Ein- und Ausgabe von PCs und somit die Art und Weise der Kommunikation zwischen Anwender und Rechner zu revolutionieren. Kann ein Musikinstrument die Tastatur ersetzen? Kann man mit den Augen den Bildschirm scrollen? Und wie kann man flexible und individuelle Displays selbst herstellen? Diesen und ähnlichen Fragestellungen wird in einer eigenen Werkstatt mit modernster Hardware zu Leibe gerückt.
Neben einer neuen Professur im Fachbereich Informatik sind auch Forscher am Deutschen Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz und dem Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik aktiv an Weiterentwicklungen in diesem Bereich beteiligt.
